Michael became an appraiser in 2006 while living in Santa Rosa, California.
“Currently I’m an appraiser conducting property evaluations in Las Vegas, Nevada.”
After working for close to two decades as an appraiser there are two main reasons why Michael still has a passion for his chosen profession.
“I enjoy the varied and different types of homes I get to appraise and building relationships with the homeowners.”
A big part of why Michael’s relationships with his clients are so strong is his willingness to be flexible.
“I have always been available to homeowners to do the inspection based on their schedules. There have been many occasions where I’ve done property evaluations on weekends and holidays.”
Flexibility is just one of the ways Michael exhibits his professionalism as an appraiser.
“Being a professional is of the most importance. It shows that you as an appraiser are reliable, respectful and dependable.”
In Michael’s service area of Las Vegas, Nevada, the market has been stable but things are picking up.
“In Las Vegas, the home inventory is currently still very low, however, the market had 8,267 homes for sale in February 2025, a 13.9% increase compared to January 2025. The median home price is $440,000 and the average DOM for homes that sold is 61.”
