Communication is a Top Priority

As a notary, I have the opportunity to travel the great state of Arizona and meet many different people from many different backgrounds. I work with them to help finalize the purchase of their dream home or maybe that much needed refinance. That’s what I find most rewarding about my job.

I treat my clients the way I would expect to be treated. For example, I once had a signing scheduled at 6:00 p.m. with a doctor and her husband. At the last minute, the husband called to say his wife got called in for an emergency surgery. Fortunately, the surgery was a success and she was able to make it home by 11:00 p.m. We were able to get the signing completed before midnight and they were able to close as scheduled.

Communication is my top priority. My clients know what to expect when I arrive and they are updated if any unforeseen circumstances arise. I want my clients to feel like their time and schedule is just as important as mine.

About James Devoy

After 30 years in the food service and retail management industries, James made a big career change and decided to become a notary public to help facilitate the sale of the cars that were in accidents. While researching how to do that, he came across some videos on becoming a notary signing agent and ended up pursuing that job full time. James now regularly uses the relationship and communication skills that he mastered in his past roles to help make the homeownership experience extraordinary for all his clients.
