Alana Brand became a notary in 2018 after earning her Master of Business Administration and pursuing her dream of owning her own business.
“I have always dreamed of having my own business. After graduating with my master’s in business administration degree in 2018, I knew I wanted to be my own boss and start my own business.”
With mentorship from a family friend and additional notary training, Alana launched her career as a full-time notary loan signing agent later that summer.
“Becoming a notary loan signing agent suited me well, as I have always enjoyed helping others in a practical way.”
As a native San Diegan, she proudly serves clients throughout San Diego County, bringing strong organizational skills and a deep sense of care to every signing.
“It is rewarding to be able to serve people and make a positive difference in their lives by being available and making the process as smooth as possible.”
Alana recalls one memorable closing that underscores her commitment to clients.
“I had a military couple who needed loan documents signed before they flew out on a work-related trip. They had only a short time before needing to head to the airport. I moved my schedule around to ensure we had enough time for them to sign.”
The couple left relieved and grateful, a reminder of the important role notaries play in major life moments.
For Alana, professionalism means representing clients with excellence and integrity.
“Being professional means carrying myself as a notary with excellence, integrity, and care. It means treating each signer with kindness while maintaining a high standard of excellence in my work.”
