Howard became a notary in 1990 when he thought this skillset would come in handy for his accounting business.
“Upon retiring from my accounting business I started to actively use my notary license in my new semi-retirement signing agent business.”
He finds the positive impact he can have on his clients the most rewarding part of being a notary.
“Clients are genuinely happy and relaxed when they see how flexible I am with my appointment scheduling, and with my overall general competence, knowledge, and professionalism.”
Howard is always prepared to do what it takes to facilitate a closing.
“There have been many, many times over the years that I have happily gone out of my way to help signing clients, title companies, or lenders to get a closing completed on time–even if that meant driving to a job near midnight, at 5 am in the morning, on a holiday, a Sunday, or even in a snowstorm or hurricane!”
For Howard, it’s all part of being a professional.
“To me, being professional means getting the job done properly, on time, with no errors, and being able to answer all closing-related questions that I am legally allowed to answer.”
